CITY OF IDANHA SAFETY PREPAREDNESS WORKSHOP March 15, 2008 Draft (not approved) PRESENT: City Council present at the workshop included Karen Clark and Traci Martinez. City Recorder Wenonah Ammon along with other residents are included in the sign up sheet. (Attached). The workshop opened at 1:08 PM with Susan Davison from Marion County Citizen Corps discussing with the audience Marion County Citizen Corps and self-preparedness. Discussion item included CERT, Training in medical operations, fire suppression, teamwork, basic search and rescue, fire corps, and neighborhood watch. Rhonda Grant discussed with the audience how to prepare in the event of a disaster. Discussion items included natural disasters, what to do during a disaster, preparedness kits for home and car, and liability issues. Susan Davison and Rhonda Grant presented brochures and handouts to take home.
